Oh thank God! Mastodon 4.0 makes it so that opening links off of accounts/posts into new tabs shows a view of them in your current server's website rather than taking you to their instance. That's gonna make following and interacting MUCH easier!

@stux I have a strong suspicion they'll save you the trouble before too long. Given their history, I suspect they'll eventually take the stance "any server that doesn't agree to the pact must also be blocked".
