       Beloved Englishman had a bad fall Sept 5. He has Kaiser insurance. Ambulance took him in, Kaiser gave him pain pills and sent him home. (Note: he only took opiates for a few days. Not addicted)2 months later, not healed, still very painful. Kicked up a stink, demanded more x-rays/scans. Result: BROKEN VERTEBRAE. Should have been wearing a brace for past 2 months.

       I am beyond furious. Had he been allowed to go to my good university hospital (love ya, #OHSU) I’m sure he would have had proper diagnosis and treatment right away. 🤬UK friends, save your NHS or die trying. Don’t let them privatize you into a US-style healthcare nightmare.*screams into void*
