       So question,Can I interact with other instances from this one? I got pointed to another one but don't want to make an account and I read somewhere I can use my account on this one to interact with other instances. Anyone got a how to for that or a link to some documents on it?

       @celtichawk of course you can do so, it's the fediverse after all, it doesn't even matter what kind of instance, peertube, mastodon... You can do one of the following:1. Follow the person on the remote instance through your actual one, then view their posts to be able to boost them. If the posts you want don't appear, it's because they didn't get loaded in your instance, most likely because no one on your instance boosted anything from that user. In that case, goto 22. Go to the remote instance and find the user you're searching for, either through the directory or with a profile link. Then, browse through their posts on the remote instance, try to boost the posts and follow the given instructions in the dialog that should appear. 3. Go to the top of your instance's page once logged in, the first unlabeled edit box, that's search. Paste the url of a post you want to interact with from your instance, then in the search results you'll find the post, you can interact with it as normal.

       Still trying to find a decent client...any ideas? I don't like Whalebird, I don't like Pinafore because FF is crashy af...the other stuff won't build, so I'm basically toot or tut.Am I missing any?@bgtlover

       @celtichawk @bgtlover have you tried brave-bin from the AUR? My tests with pinafore went quite well with it.

       Yes I have, I'm trying to find a decent client. It just rustrates me I have to constantly toggle browse/focus to get anything done if I'm not in a tui program.So any ideas on clients? GTK4 is meh at least on my system, and the other GTK3 stuff won't build@storm @bgtlover

       @celtichawk @bgtlover unfortunately not really. If someone would make a TTYtter for Pleroma and Mastodon, that would solve the client issue once and for all. So far, no such luck though.
