Right, my goal for today. Try to find as many command line programs for things as is practical.Web browsing from a terminal sucks most of the time. Email, doable to a point. Matodo? Tut for that. Reddit? No idea. Other things? I'll find them as I need 'em

Both links/lynx use review and a whole other set of keys, which takes getting used to. w3m looks to me to be the most feature complete one however. Now if I could just have w3m start up on a specific web page@bgtlover@linuxrocks.online @storm

I am regretting eating a whole bag of Haribo.I now know those sugar free bear reviews on Amazon are accurate. -.-What's even in those Haribo anyway...I'm liable to just do unspeakable things to my plubming. Ah well, it'll give my local plumbers employment, I suppose, but those Haribo were good. Until they weren't!

I'm tempted to try out peertube, but, I got pipe-viewer for Yt stuff though so I can watch without logging in, and all that good stuff.Does anything like pipe-viewer exist for Peertube? I did get pointed to a command line program for it but not tried it yet. Hopeully my nerdy friends will help me out.Also. Hi new people. Don't mind my random puns. I'd tell you I don't post big long cat puns. But. I'd be lion about that

@storm> @celtichawk peertube-viewer-rs is based on youtube-viewer which is what pipe-viewer is based on too. You do have to configure a default instance, or use the -i flag. You can use -t to see what’s trending on the instance you chose, unless they use sepia I think it’s called.Last I heard pipe-viewer was the only maintained fork. Is it in the AUR at all? Mid composing so not wanting to switch to another tab to check yay or paru atm

Problem with email is, good luck not being flagged as spam.I could probably turn my droplet into a mail server if I wanted to and toss a nextcloud instance on it and turn it into a blog thingy or sit hosting thing if I wanted to really@storm

So question,Can I interact with other instances from this one? I got pointed to another one but don't want to make an account and I read somewhere I can use my account on this one to interact with other instances. Anyone got a how to for that or a link to some documents on it?

Fun fact: Cereal is, technically, soup. So get out, cranky people. I can totally have cereal for dinner if I want because it really is soup. And nobody can stop me!This is where my brain's at while I just woke up

@fireborn @jamminjerry I'm trying to work out how exactly installing i3 managed thatI'm starting to think it may be my config, which may be odd. I'm not sure if it's a case of odd permissions though
