       Anyway, when people say that police aren't welcome at pride, or that all cops are bastards, one part of what they mean is that the police can be relied upon to enact state violence in accordance with state policies.If homosexuality was criminalised here tomorrow, do you think the police will hold hands, sing "Imagine", and refuse to enforce it? Maybe some of them will, but they'll quickly be purged and replaced with more reliable elements.
