@neil Pleroma has been using "Subject" instead of CW for a very long time, letting the user decide whether they want CW'd posts collapsed or expanded by default. To me it's a very reasonable approach -- putting user in control.(For example, I keep all CW'd posts expanded because I'd expand them out of curiosity anyway.)In my opinion "Subject" is a particularly good choice because it plays so well with Pleroma's default of prepending "re" to Subjects of posts replying to CW'd posts, mimicking behaviour known from email.
