       Wait!What's going on in the feed here? I'm seeing a bunch of these twifugee types drowning out the typically expected topics and people that have made this a great community.This server was deployed as an extension of the other community services for members here at SDF - gopher/phlogs, commode,  shell, toobnix, anonradio...Has this mastodon server been opened up for public registrations? I never received any email to that affect and don't think taking on #Twifugees is going to end well.

       @publius Yes I thought this #Fediverse server was still closed to just us SDF members and invitees. I know it's been a couple of years at least but figured I would have received a request for a vote or something before opening it up.        @tallship I don't resent people for having been on Twitter, but I sure do hope there's less talk about it soon.Out of 60 000 new Mastodon registrations (per smj), I do hope some take the time to learn about and appreciate SDF for what it is.
