@publius Yes I thought this #Fediverse server was still closed to just us SDF members and invitees. I know it's been a couple of years at least but figured I would have received a request for a vote or something before opening it up. I'm not sure of the hostname but i gather it's under the twit.tv domain, maybe?Anyway, hopefully it's something that allows him to publish help, tutorials, and review articles longer than the paltry 500 character count limit that some of the less feature complete server platforms are capable of.A perfect candidate for #Mitra http://Mitra.Social

It could very well have just been made a configuration setting for instance admins, but there are others too, like lack of support for other input types (i really like using Markdown) and over if my personal favs by @darius of the #Hometown light fork is "Local Only post capability.Hometown is s pretty kewl #Fediverse platform ⛵.

Just had another one... While cooking breakfast in the kitchen.M 5.4 - 15km SE of Rio Dell, CA2023-01-01 18:35:04 (UTC)27.8 km depthAfter three big 6.4 before Christmas they were coming Avery few hours, tapering off and getting smaller until the frequency was every couple of days, but now...They're beginning to increase in both magnitude and frequency. Those are called preshocks - not aftershocks.This one was long and rather violent. Now I'm hearing sirens outside.Not kewl#tallship
