Weekends are for batch #cooking. My husband has been craving split pea #soup, so I’m using two frozen chicken carcasses, celery root, celery stalks, and two bunches of spring onions to make a very oniony chicken stock. I’ll cook the soup tomorrow.

And voilà! I really like the color of this batch of chicken stock. With any luck, it’ll have a nice gelatinous texture after chilling overnight in the fridge. #bonebroth
