I really don't know what to make of this midterm cycle. things overall don't make sense though.......75% of the country thinks the country is on the wrong track and Biden has th elowest rating in history.......but it wasn't a red wave? No governor lost?weirdHigh Inflation, High gas prices, terrible economy, war, etc. But Democrats have the best midterms in 50 years? Objectively. At face value, it really doesn' tmake sense.

@polarisera I don't think that was the most important issues.....poll after poll after poll (and you didn' tneed a poll to tell you) that inflation, energy and economy were top of mind.....not abortion. That being said, I totally agree that the GOP were idiots to push hard on abortion. It certainly didn't help their cause.

@polarisera @isaac Participation rates and outcomes don't support that in red states where abortion would be under threat. They did show up to vote in blue states where topics reflected in CNN polling were apparently not big factors.

@isaac It makes sense when you remember the media is a propoganda arm of the Democratic Party. Much of the country still gets their news from morning shows or CNN website. Republicans will still win the house and probably the Senate. So, Biden no longer has a rubber stamp. That's good enough for me this morning. @SamiOh tina kotex winning was probable, even likely but 114 passing? Hell no. It shouldnt have even been close but it did pass. We keep saying people are waking up but then measures like this pass proving that apparently they're not.
