       I was checking out other ActivityPub platforms that I stumbled upon a project that I haven't heard much about lately: @bonfire .Feature-wise it checks lots of points that I like. Mastodon is good and all, but it seems #Bonfire folks are approaching the same thing from a different angle, an angle that kinda suites me more (?). Unfortunately it is still not yet stable and you should only spin an instance for testing and development stuff. let's keep an eye on it.https://bonfirenetworks.org/

       @Mehrad @bonfire I'm pretty excited about it. We need something that offers groups. And I really like that they want to bring back the "circles" concept from G+. It would make the internet so much better if we used granular privacy and intentional / targeted sharing.

       @zleap @Mehrad @bonfire that's interesting. It's a Mastodon instance with new / tweaked code? Their policy on not blocking servers though, redflag...
