       when you have a very privileged job that lets you take mental health days when things get to be too much, what are you supposed to do when life is too much and you have no job and you can't take a mental health day and nothing actually helps?

       During the 9 months that I was between jobs, I smoked a ton of weed, walked all over the city, watched a lot of local bands, met all kinds of people, and experimented with making lots of music. Ultimately, that period ended, but it was exciting to have limited responsibilities for a while, so that I could just do whatever I wanted to do.I burned all of my savings and almost became homeless, so I don’t recommend doing it for that long. But, thinking about stuff that makes you happy, that you want to do, and just spending lots of time trying to figure it out can be really good for you.

       @sean well I've used the time to go camping and get my balls cut off and spend time with my partners but my EI runs out next month and there is a hiring freeze during a historically bad economic crisis and no one wants a trans marketing specialist and I am already bordering on broke so idk what I'm supposed to do. I can't smoke pot.
