       @Songstobe you'll see two very different answers to that.For folks on big instances hashtags make a lot of sense locally;  but my 'trending' list here instance and my hashtag search only include what my instance sees.  Boosts are what gets content around the fediverse.

       @jared I run a small record label to help my son, who is disabled due to mental illness.  He is a songwriter. He is a bit recluse due to his illness, so I have become his promo voice so to speak
