@gossithedog Twitter went from 1 million to 10 million in a year.To do that they employed a lot of engineers.For Fediverse to do that, it needs an actual army of admins. Every company with a website having their own server.Everyone with a church or a company or a social club or a sports team should be thinking about how late they will be setting up their activitypub server.

My mum's church has a website and some kind of zoom-broadcast for those who are too disabled to make the meetings.Do they want to do out-reach?Do they currently have email?My church has an instance: dobbs.townI can imagine a million ways why a church would want to be the conduit through which they moderated the twitter for their own flock.The christian ones probably would moderate more tightly than @onan doesMy mum would prefer a christian twitter moderator.
