I'm still alive! I don't remember the last time I got on spinster. Life has been chaotic since August but I'm glad to have enough downtime to hop on here and say hi. How is everyone doing?If anyone has been paying attention to twitter, what is going on there is causing mastodon to get a huge influx of new users. Do we think that if other instances like mastodon become more mainstream, we'll have more trolls bothering spinster users?

Already there’s a poster suggesting a hashtag which can be used to alert moderators to troublesome posters/ instances that they might want to block at an instance level. They’re going to recreate twitter block lists, aren’t they?(More worryingly, it has occurred to me that there are enough bad actors possibly coming over from twitter that it might be an idea to set my profile to followers only for a while…)
