@Fullycaffeinated Thanks! I had fun choosing them. I think I'm not showing off fillet net to its best advantage because that part of the dress will be snugger but it's all good. Using this book for motif inspo/help for the lace parts and they're easy for me to modify to fit odd angles/areas. My older daughter, who left home abruptly about ten years ago to live with her dad, called Rube Jr for my number tonight. She called twice while I was at dinner and sent a text. She came by my house out of nowhere a couple of summers ago to ask for some of her abandoned property (long gone). I told her to let me know if she wanted to go out and talk sometime. She told me I ruined her life. I'm going to sleep on this sudden reappearance and decide how to approach tomorrow. Sometimes people disappear so for so long you mourn them as if they died. I haven't known her as an adult and it makes me sad that she sets off my alarms. I will go cautiously.

Ok, trying to turn wedge into a wave pattern by staggering the second row. The sideways triangle is going to be a blue green DK and the upright stitches will be a dark blue fingering. So I won't be able to just turn it and keep working. I'll update if I don't go batty

When I was going through my intense Wim Hof lite phase I was getting chillblains on my feet from being outside too much. I was working for a manufacturing plant last winter and was running around a lot, and didn't get them. This winter they've come back indoors just because my home office is so cold. I got myself some giant slippers with foam soles and they're healing, but slowly. Sometimes I feel impatient with my body because it didn't work correctly for so many years. I feel like I can do anything now, which is absolutely untrue. I had Vietnamese food Friday night and the joint pain I had yesterday from the stupid vegetables was a good reminder of how much better things are now!

@virvallis Low wattage is good! My office is over my garage and the cold just radiates up through the floor. I had space heaters in there years ago and they would pop the circuit sometimes. I've also started a little prisoner fitness regime. 🤣 If I get too cold I hop up and do some squats/pushups/lift weights.

@virvallis I'm thinking about a stand up desk! I've been using them for a few years now but don't have one at home. I believe I can order one through work actually! It's on my list but I'm also in the middle of some typical housey cleaning and sifting so I'd like to wrap that up before I bring in more new furniture and have to decide where the current desk goes. :)

They closed local Amazon drop off locations when I am and the site shunted me off to UPS. I went to the store I got kicked out of after masking was lifted in my state for daring not to wear one, GASP. This was in 2021. I bounced out of the store and saw a man physically fighting with a little person (woman) in a weird bondage get up, no joke. In the year of our Lord 2026 they are ALL still wearing masks in there!! I can't with Seattle

@Flick I know right! I've heard they are clinging on in blue cities. 🤷♀️ I'll tell you I went to Arizona State a year ago to see the baseball and no one was masked (and it's a large elderly population) or shooting up between their toes en plein air LOL. A nice break

This is completely unscientific but I feel like all the AI "actually" inserts I have in my life and day are getting increasingly incorrect. It's so tedious! I still love to look up ridiculous rumors/conspiracy theories and AI is there taking a shit in my Cheerios before I even get to the search results.
