       @marcan in times like this I think many new users will try out fedi and probably go back.Fedi always had it's own core community and close to anarchistic nature.Of course, I'm not telling you won't find followers here because there a lot of hardcore geeks that at least heard about you. But current hype will fade at some point.

       @marcan fedi had critical mass since 2016 when Mastodon is released. Even before that in StatusNet days public timeline looked quite alive.And nowhere to go, I never used Twitter and honestly don't understand the deal. Except that it's centralized proprierary etc etc.

       @marcan I never used Twitter and many of my friends too. Let alone the fact that Twitter is not so popular in this part of the planet. For me it's not "everyone".Fediverse was stable for a while and it won't go off. Even without current hysteria.
