       I am really, really sad because I’m trapped in a situation where family would nudge and push me into jobs that they love but would mean 100% spiritual death for me. (Can’t go into too much details but think about being a cop or prison guard, and worse.) I’ve already been having hard enough time surviving under the weight of mental health problems, disability, and the unsafe conditions for people like me. Even if I understand the very legitimate interests in me having a job and money (which I share), I cannot foresee any good thing that would come out of it. And I don’t think I can convey this to them, that there are certain things that I’d rather die than do, if not for the love and obligations toward them (or maybe there is one way but it’s so difficult it would cost so much energy to me).I don’t think I deserve being put under this terrible bind, but no one around seems to understand how horrible it is for me.
