       @pepperraccoon @hilarymcam I ended up looking for (and finding!) the 'block' button here after seeing an infamous Twitter troll pop up today. He can troll as much as the admins let him - but I won't be reading it.

       @Daveosaurus Important note about Mastodon's DMs:a) they're in the post's visibility settings, named "Mentioned people only", butb) that means they're not exactly DMs: as soon as you mention someone - like the troll you want name - they can see the message....Yes, even if you've previously blocked them!!So if you do want to DM about someone else, leave the @ out of their handle!(Also technically server admins can read any DM, but mostly they're too busy.)@hilarymcam @pepperraccoon
