       I see a lot of posts in mastodon asking people to use the platform una given way: add this to your profile, add metadata on your posts, boost and like posts, include hashtags, etc. Why should people use the platform in a given way? RT was invented by people in Twitter. Maybe we should be less normative.

       @estebanmoro instances with a lot of rules are without exception awful experiences.
