       Here's a thought.. Many of us are looking for work and would really like to get #FediHired.But what if we band together and create our self-owned initiative, and create these jobs for ourselves, and probably for others as well?There *will* be obstacles and, obviously, risks. There's a long way to go from an idea and its implementation, not to say a successful one.But secretly I suspect that many would have longed for something in this general direction.Do these longings inform us of anything? And what are the action potentials?

       @zoec Cool idea. Social.coop is an example of this, as are the tech co-ops who are operator members of meet.coop. You could say the Mastodon non-profit that employs Eugen is too. There's are lots of models and working examples we could talk about. Do you maybe want to do another couple of posts with some context on what you already know in this field, and any models you're particularly interested in? Might help you get more pertinent responses and avoid the thread getting flooded with trivia.
