It’s real simple: the unwashed masses feel threatened by those of us who think for ourselves and are not afraid to challenge a narrative (mainstream or otherwise). We don’t need their approval or acceptance.

@PhoneBoy Most people base decisions on the feelings of the collective. They essentially poll people around them to figure out they they should feel about something, and then go with that choice.The roughly 30% of the population who base decisions on reason and logic tend to be more skeptical and contrarian, and find it easier to stand up against the flow of the masses. For a lot of us, it's almost our default setting, even when we know they're probably right.But for the majority, it's very difficult for them to stand up to that kind of collective pressure. From that perspective I can understand them. It allows me to not hate them for their choices, but I don't forgive them.

@insurgentem Napoleon Hill back in 1938 figured out about 2% of the people had full control of their reasoning faculties. The rest are controlled by fear and ignorance, to varying degrees.
