       @fitheach TBH if I were him I'd make it one mastodon instance to start with, and latter split it into several. He can still do content moderation, have adverts and advertisers etc. Just save on dev costs initially, and in the future contribute back towards Mastodon codebase. But - I'm not him 😃

       @fitheach @bradley I kinda wonder if he's got some bankruptcy court endgame planned to shed his debt from buying it. But that also implies he's got a plan, which is not yet proven

       @ljupco Buying Twitter is an ego trip. Getting a Mastodon instance wouldn't achieve that for Musk.
