       What is the most sustainable (financially) way supporting the Mastodon community? Or is it reasonable to expect it to survive only through voluntary efforts?I'm definitely one of those willing to pay a monthly fee to support the longevity and development of the network.How do I go about doing that?

       @cstromblad Thank you for being awesome and asking these questions. operating a mastodon instance is not very expensive. At current traffic this instance is roughly $40 per month.

       @seb Sure, for now. But let's assume, and hope, it will grow into the millions of users per instance. Scaling will require time and resources. Either way, let me know when and how I can help. Even if it's just a few bucks towards paying for infrastructure. :)
