I see #TwitterTakeover and #twittermigration trending here. I'm not particularly a fan of #elonmusk I tend to stay out of it, i'm still keep my #twitter account. I don't care for social media much if i'm honest, I only do it for my youtube channel. @DarthChillash I think that's why i'm finding myself gravitating towards mastodon more, the people in general seem nicer here, I get a similar vibe as I did on the internet back in the 90s.

@MsMadLemon @killyourfm people that eat algorithms instead of meat and vegetables? I eat vegetables, I promise. Jokes aside one of the the things I don’t understand on Twitter is a person with 4000 followers (example from yesterday) publicly announcing how they lost 10 followers and starting a conversation over that. The obsession with numbers and competition is a thing there, while nobody here cares how much numbers do I have. People here actually talk to each other.

@DarthChillash @killyourfm People seem to eat other people to chase and ride algorithms. Probably eat those in the end also once it's time to move onto a new wave to ride.This seems to be social media mentality in general, Twitter, Youtube, facebook etc. I really got fed up of it (hence the talk videos i've been posting lately) People seem to talk at each other rather than talk to each other, I dont come across many who actually want to have a stimulating conversation....

@DarthChillash @killyourfm Hah that's one of the things that put me off joining twitter for a while. Train people to limit their expression, no wonder a lot of people don't seem to have thought processes lately. The calling out thing, i'm not sure what to make of it for that very reason, sure people need to be called out but again, what catches it, something that doesn't know the difference between right and wrong, the trusty algorithm.
