In today’s pro snacking for less tip we present old school popcorn! About 1/5 of a $2 packet of corn made this much. Nice to use good oil and salt too.

@zkarjI worked out about a year ago today microwave popcorn is just popcorn plus powdery oil and E numbers. If you just put ordinary popcorn in a paper bag, it microwaves just fine. Take it slow though, it's easy to burn. @brena

@strypey @brena we used to have a “popcorn maker” that just blew really hot air around a chamber. It was pretty effective. The idea was to avoid using oil but we used to add a nob of butter afterwards, anyway.
