@luka it is. 🥳 a lot of actual gamers said “pc”, “ups”, “nas”, … 🤫 so thank you for being smart 😃It is a liquid cooled Nvidia RTX2080Ti in external enclosure with usb and ethernet hub. Ideal for thin, travel laptops that crave to become a gaming powerhouse while at home.

@DarthChillash Which TB laptop do you use it with? I’m considering topping up my inventory with something light, Linux-friendly, cheap-ish and does Thunderbolt. I do envy the lightness of your enclosure, my Razer Core X is… uh… not quite liftable with one hand@luka

@DarthChillash I need this for touring audio visual performances so I don't have to drag big box with me (just a smaller box and a laptop...).Do you use it with Linux? Could you write a bit what specs etc and hiw happy you are with it?

@luka RTX2080Ti GPU is the fastest Nvidia GPU from RTX2000 generation, so it is still more than potent for any task. One of the things I like about it, besides gaming, is Nvidia Broadcast app (unfortunately Windows only) that uses Tensor cores from RTX cards to drive AI in noise elimination. I tell the software which device is my mic and then use this app where I am recording, as the input source, and there is literally no noise. It's perfect! Also for an incredibly good virtual green screen.

@luka it comes with a carrying bag too, but I don't go anywhere with it. It is actually for sale because I used to have this dream of a light and thin laptop that transforms into a beast at home, but I don't need that anymore. I built myself a stationary PC that does everything I need.

@DarthChillash Ah, ignore the previous toot. I didn't catch you opted out of 'light and thin laptop'. I suppose you didn't find a usable one or it was not as useful :ceilingparrot: @luka

@luka if you use Linux and need DaVinci Resolve for video editing then you probably need Nvidia GPU. But I didn't quite catch what you do.
