       People like to scoff at Victoria's public holidays like "Horse Race Tuesday" and "Day before the football match" but I think there should be MORE public holidays for ridiculous reasons that aren't overt celebrations of colonialism. I mean, everyone in Aus and Aotearoa already gets "Too Hungover to work after Christmas Day" as an official public holiday, and that's considered perfectly normal.
