       “Mastodon will never work ’cause most people will choose to stay on Twitter” is … sort of pathetic?I’ve been here for years and love the lack of politicians and pundits.        @vanecx Well, to be fair, I think they meant journalists, columnists, politicians, etc. (Still, I love it here. Nice and quiet. Seen Twitter evolve—I’ve been on and off the platform, sometimes with multi-year breaks in between—from geeky and tech-minded to whatever it is today, and it wasn’t for the better.)
