Looks like Pleroma now supports account migration..I’m actually somewhat tempted to move back to my old Mastodon account @hugo. The first part of slowly deconstructing and paring down my Kubernetes cluster.Pleroma is probably the most-used thing that I run, followed by Miniflux, Peertube, ZNC, and a few other bits and bobs.It would be pretty easy to run/manage those on a single VPS with docker compose, certainly much less time consuming than Kubernetes :blobcatsweat:

@icy you’ve moved a few times, how have you found it?

I’d lose my post history, but I can archive that somewhere for reference. I’ve always assumed these posts would be ephemeral anyway.Followers should be migrated over, provided the host instance supports it..

@uoya I never actually "migrated" from Pleroma. I started afresh. What prompted the move back to Mastodon?

@icy I posted a bit about the move here: https://melb.social/@hugo/109262079235130159Copying a TL;DR from another post as well: self-hosting maintenance burden, cost, and Mastodon is a much better experience on web and mobile.I don't think I ever asked you why you moved to Honk?
