@Woodbutcher Dscovered a nest with some friends when I was in 7th grade. Removed 54 stingers, maybe more. I think I got a shot of something to be safe and I spent a long time soaking in the tub full of Epsom salts to draw it all out. On the bright side lifetime immunity. I laugh when a wasp tries to sting me now. One stung my finger this summer. Slight swelling for an hour made me more mad than anything else.

@Woodbutcher oh so you only got stung once and it was on the eyelid? That's not lucky and yet extremely lucky at the same time. Thankfully it didn't get the eyeball and thankfully you got away before they swarmed. 50 or more yellow jacket stings is not uncommon once the nest is disturbed.
