@Dan_Ramos in the upholstery business people are often shocked at the cost to reupholster something.Lisa does her best to explain that they are going to be getting a piece back that is much better than what you can currently find new.There is a reason that the 40 year old chair is still around.90% of stuff made today will not last a fraction of that.The stuff I make I imagine it will pass from one generation to the next.i understand it is not for everyone.

@melodiousowls rear brake lamp went out on my car (MINI) . I was told I needed to replace the whole assembly ($150) . Found out the reason was because it is a pain in the ass to find the correct bulb. Tracked a bulb down ( $25 😒 wtf) and now I have one as a backup in case other side goes out.

@KillerMule I guess in hindsight I should have just bought the whole unit took out the dud bulb from my car and harvested the good bulb from the unit..then return the unit
