Apparently I'm going to try and temp the #migraine gods by adding sleep deprivation to tomorrow's menu.Hopefully the pressure changes are done though.Goodnight!

@Ricardus hmmm, that's a cause I'd never heard of. And *many* of my migraines feel like they start in my neck, and move up into my head. But then I get nausea / vertigo, and other weird neurological crap (sensitivity to noise and touch being big ones).

@rmflight Sounds familiar. 😫 Yeah, when the nerve pain moves behind my eyes and starts feeling like a migraine, I get all the classic stuff. Nausea, light sensitivity, etc... sometimes my body temp goes up a bit too.

@Ricardus huh. AFAIK, my primary trigger is barometric pressure changes.Used to be any direction, montelukast has gotten it down to one direction (down, as we have a low coming in tomorrow) and I suspect a certain rate of change.Hoping Neuro will let me up the dose, in contrast to my GP (who was nice enough to let me try it at least).

@rmflight Stress triggers mine. My neck muscles get tense when something stressful happens to me, and the muscles must compress a nerve or something, and then it starts. The pain ramps up for 12 hours, hangs around for a while, and then starts slowly ramping down for about 12 hours. It usually takes 24 hours to clear and pain relievers don't help. Not all stress triggers it though. It has to be the kind of events that trigger my PTSD. Abusive stuff like I experienced from my family for decades.
