       The #TwitterTakeover hashtag is absolutely inundated with angry posts because Mastodon doesn't have QRTs, and the devs have specifically indicated that they don't want it to.A) This is NOT Twitter, and that is by design. There is a concerted effort to keep Mastodon from becoming Twitter, and I think we're on the right track.B) This is an open source project. You want QRTs? Fork it.C) Don't get shitty with the devs, they owe you nothing. Take your anger and entitlement back to Twitter.

       @deadtomAnyway, Misskey has reacts and post-retweets. So you can have that on the Fediverse if you really want it. It's not as useful as people think, though.
