       It's a bit if a shame that I can't migrate all my old posts from the previous instance, but ah well. I post a lot about marine mammals, as I'm a Project Jonah Marine Mammal Medic, so there may be updates from whale, dolphin and orca strandings.I also post about racism, especially personal experiences of it.Some of my posts will contain #DadJokes and observations of life as a #NewDad.I may not respond to all replies or questions, unless I feel comfortable doing so.

       Also kind of ironic that I moved instances because an admin made me feel unsafe at a time where people are moving to mastodon from birdsite because of the new owner making them feel unsafe.

       @HappyfishmediaThat's one of the awesome things about the fediverse. You can leave an instance without leaving the whole network of people you used it to interact with. No doubt the migration tools could be improved. Feel free to give feedback on your experiences using them to the Mastodon devs.
