Reading the 2017 Thrawn novel, watching Rebels, and watching Andor in parallel. Fascinating to see this all come together. I am curious to see a definitive timeline at some point, as each seems to claim the “first real rebel win against the Empire,” but…

…that’s also part of the story: each rebel cell or strike believes they alone are the catalyst, but the “pockets of fomenting” are developing in parallel. The actions of the Empire itself tightening its grip are causing the individual rebel acts.

It’s when they join together that the rebellion itself actually begins, which I believe is also shown in different ways in Rebels and Rogue One.It’s a fun time to explore.

@cassidyjames Some of the Star Wars novels having female protagonists has actually gotten my wife to read a few of the novels and she's deep into "Rebel Rising" right now. She's keep bringing up how much little bits of "Andor" keeps reminding her of things she's read. It's pretty cool! The "Princess of Alderaan" novel she finished last, and seeing teen Leia starting to understand the state of the galaxy and her parents' involvement also seems to have really stuck with her.
