@BigSkyRider there is a legal process to challenge the results. do that if you think it's necessary. but at what point do you continue to reject an election result and what does that justify? when everyone cannot verify everything themselves, trust is necessary. trust in people you don't like is necessary. and trust is a lot easier to tear down than build up. but this all assumes you want democratic government to exist...

@wjmaggos @BigSkyRider It's hard to believe in the "legal process" when the makers of the voting machines won't even allow cursory audits of their machines and when the Supreme Court says "no crime was committed" before Jan 20 and that it's "moot" after Jan 20, refusing the hear the case either way.Gambling machines in Vegas are held to a higher standard than Dominion voting machines.Also 2000 Mules, but who cares about any of that, right? We just don't want to talk about it.I remember seeing the video of them pulling out the suitcases of ballots in Fulton County (Atlanta, GA) after kicking everyone out. It was all on the security tapes from four different perspectives.Corrupt judges refuse to hear the cases.Muh legal process. Hah.

Also I haven’t listened to NA super regularly the last past two years but I probably caught every single episode of all but the fist few months of the Trump presidency and I’d have to say one of the most appealing things about that show was that they managed such an impressive effort to be Trump-neutral. Dvorak as I recall still mostly analyzes him as a stand-up comic.

@BigSkyRider it's a balancing act. you trust a ton of things in this life. modern life would be impossible without it. if we get to only trusting people we know or think we like, it's over. you trust that the air is safe to breathe and that a radioactive cloud didn't engulf your neighborhood. that you're not living in a Truman Show type fantasy. you think the vax is worse than the virus cause a bunch of people told you and maybe you had some experiences, but you don't have the stats yourself.

@victor @BigSkyRider you're trusting all the people who told you that stuff, whether it's more true or not than the M5M. my argument is only for taking the same approach to all of it.again, I started listening to NA because that seemed to be where they were coming from. my hope for the community was that there might be people in it that would be interested in doing something about that, without bias, even if John and Adam said it was hopeless. but as shown here, the new crowd has an agenda.

I voted for Nader in 2000. what does cutting our losses mean? democracy is about continuing to try to improve the system. when the masses disengage, it only gives more leverage to the powerful. and that doesn't even account for the left-right conflict. civics understanding is weak today. there are no easy outs, that's been reasoned over. it takes support for good journalism, difficult conversations, voting and compromises etc.

His point is the show sucks because Adam and John changed but he didn’t. Honestly, his view of the show is probably mostly shaped by NA Social. True enough these days the audience leans toward Trump, even if every NA meetup I’ve been to is people saying “I don’t really like Trump that much and I didn’t vote for him” and some other guy saying “I did” and then some guy replying to the Trump voter “Cool whatever want a beer?”
