@nigeldgreen Python is "batteries included". It and your editor (vim for me) suffice for 99% of what comes up. I've slowly, reluctantly factored my own pet middleware for web services, CGI, etc:https://sources.vsta.org:7100/chore/and modified pdb to be thread clueful, with "jobs" like interface ala the shell:https://sources.vsta.org:7100/pdb/Tools makers are focused on making you develop a psychological need for their crutches.
