just remembered one time at boy scout camp when one of the merit badge counselors were going over the scout law and got to the last one "a scout is reverent" and he asked if any of us knew what that meant.being mormon at the time i tried to explain what my religion said it meant, which was pretty much maintaining some sort of inner peace as to always be able to invite in the holy spirit.but the counselor didn't like that definition and told me i was dead wrong, and that what it actually meant is to respect people's religious beliefs even if they're different from my own.and i just now 7 years later realized he literally broke the scout law by his own definition, by shutting mine down LMAOeither way no matter how you define it i'm no longer reverent haha(also i lied everyone knows the last part of the scout law is "a scout is hungry")

@ezra Ah yes I remember the law well. Trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, something, something, clean, and reverent, all male, and massively homosexual.

@ezra respecting ones beliefs (lol) doesn't mean respecting ones made up definitions of words. neither one of you is using that term correctly.
