How do you feel about authors/cartoonists who have "guest" writers/cartoonists?I kind of feel like I read creator X's work because I want to read _their_ work. I don't want to read someone else's take on their work, so why bother creating it?Book of short stories by different authors set in famous author's world? No thanks, I'll skip that one, unless someone I trust tells me otherwise.Bonus comic written and illustrated by guest? Not canon, not interested.

@CarlCravens I like it sometimes, sometimes not so much. I tend to ignore it if it’s the latter and don’t really mind they do it unless it’s for an extended period. I like to think this gives the artist a fresh look on some things, so in my head it makes sense to do it.

@CarlCravens Depends on how often and how well it's done. When done well and reasonably rarely, it can be a nice change of pace and introduce me to other creators I might be interested in following. Also, I don't begrudge someone taking a break from the content mills.

@CarlCravens There's a variation on it that I like, when the creator of the comic is drawn by different artists. Harvey Pekar worked like this.
