@Minetest @Nezchan It be worth looking into registering Minetest as a trademark so that none of these bozos try to squat on the name and launch a blockchain-based fork.

@CarlCravens I'm surprised that nobody has done Ethernet through the USB-C.(Actually, more seriously, I'm genuinely surprised that nobody's come up with an alternative smaller Ethernet jack that fits on the knife-edge of a modern laptop.)

@thenewoil Translation: Moonray is getting long in the tooth but we want to keep using it. Maybe if we open-source it, random folks will fix all of the long-standing bugs.

@dansup I'm dubious about the cost factor because:1. The whole thing is automated. The real cost of an instance is admin time and this uses none of that.2. This turns into something on the order of one transaction per instance per deleted account. That's a drop in the bucket. And if this *is* a huge resource hit for individual instances, this is an implementation issue or a protocol issue, *not* a social issue.

@tek So, this "cancel culture". Is that what people are calling "consequences of my actions" now?

@fitheach I use one of @benoitmandelbot 's images. Because GrapheneOS's default background is solid black and that's kind of bleak. But up until then, it was whatever default came with the phone because a) it was usually pretty nice and b) I kind of resent smartphones for displacing real computers.

@theruran This doesn't surprise me.Given access to the power Facebook has, a good person (or organization) would either try to destroy it or find ways to nullify it while a bad person would use it to gain power for themselves.Facebook... puts it in their ad API at standard pricing rates?!?!?Zuck isn't just evil. He's *stupid*.

Note: Please don't be offended if I unfollow you. It's not a personal judgment. It just means that your output doesn't mesh with my current mood or interests. You personally are a perfectly awesome person but we're currently in incompatible places. And that's okay. And of course, I won't hold it against you if you do the same.I've adopted this policy of no-fault unfollowing because it lets me fearlessly follow all kinds of people with many different viewpoints, and that's a good thing.

@ajroach42 Have you considered just making episodes available by bittorrent? Saving bandwidth is kind of its point. And I guess you could do a kind of retro pirate site aesthetic just for fun.

@CarlCravens Depends on how often and how well it's done. When done well and reasonably rarely, it can be a nice change of pace and introduce me to other creators I might be interested in following. Also, I don't begrudge someone taking a break from the content mills.
