@GatorTime @SpookyWeebtrash @TheGuyFromChile I had a YT channel where I played clips of less than 10s with awesome music from shows that you can only hear on that show, this is bits and pieces of music that only can be hear on a given episode of a given show, openings, video-games, etc... One good day I got my channel completely obliterated from existence without recourse for reiterated and purposeful copyright infringement. I fucking despise YT ever since. My channel wasn't monetised nor I intended to. I wrote to youtube and never got a reply. Since then I do not bother with anything online.

They could decide your channel is just doing nothing but replaying copyrighted material and shut it down instead of leaving the video up. @SpookyWeebtrash @GatorTime @TheGuyFromChile I was using 10s clips you can use up to 11s lawfully for review purposes, all I did was to point out at awesome music clips and tell people from what show they came. I wasn't even violating copyright law. Copyright companies have automated systems if your channel is popular and monetised they want a chunk of your revenue and if you're not monetised they just shut you down whether you comply with the law or not. At some point I tried another channel disguising the videos with reviews of media players, I would have a media player playing the 10s and my videos kept getting flagged again and again, Bandai Namco kept flagging me for showing clips of anything theirs even with no audio. This was circa 2008. I have desisted ever since to do anything online.
