I’ve refreshed the install and refreshed/remigrated the database, I think. The instance now appears to be working without any errors or “server is down” messages…

@alan they really know how to help you out. 😂Any other logs? Journalctl -xe? Systemctl status pleroma.service? I don’t know how pleroma is installed.

Now I can’t even view notifications. I have no idea what’s happened, unless Pleroma doesn’t like Ubuntu 22.04.

@alan not giving much away is it. Are there anything in /var/log/ related to pleroma? Or syslog? It’s quite hard to think when it’s not in front of me.

       It’s finally let me back in and I can view my notifications!I checked journalctl -xe and the log went back to August. I didn’t get a chance to Google how to view the most recent pages.Systemctl status pleroma.service generates:● pleroma.service - Pleroma social network Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/pleroma.serv> Active: active (running) since Sat 2022-10-01 09> Main PID: 6632 (beam.smp) Tasks: 37 (limit: 9274) Memory: 235.8M CPU: 1min 26.324s CGroup: /system.slice/pleroma.service ├─ 970 /opt/pleroma/erts-10.7.2.17/bin/e> ├─6632 /opt/pleroma/erts-10.7.2.17/bin/b> ├─6671 erl_child_setup 1024 ├─6702 /opt/pleroma/lib/fast_html-2.0.4/> ├─6703 /opt/pleroma/lib/fast_html-2.0.4/> ├─6704 /opt/pleroma/lib/fast_html-2.0.4/> ├─6705 /opt/pleroma/lib/fast_html-2.0.4/> ├─6706 inet_gethost 4 ├─6707 inet_gethost 4 ├─6742 /opt/pleroma/lib/majic-1.0.0/priv> ├─6743 /opt/pleroma/lib/majic-1.0.0/priv> ├─6747 inet_gethost 4 ├─6749 inet_gethost 4 └─6750 inet_gethost 4Oct 01 09:38:22 blimey pleroma[6632]: 09:38:22.707 [i>Oct 01 09:38:23 blimey pleroma[6632]: 09:38:23.152 [i>Oct 01 09:38:23 blimey pleroma[6632]: 09:38:23.207 re>Oct 01 09:38:23 blimey pleroma[6632]: 09:38:23.499 re>Oct 01 09:38:23 blimey pleroma[6632]: 09:38:23.940 [i>Oct 01 09:38:25 blimey pleroma[6632]: 09:38:25.101 re>Oct 01 09:38:25 blimey pleroma[6632]: 09:38:25.372 [i>Oct 01 09:38:25 blimey pleroma[6632]: 09:38:25.384 re>Oct 01 09:38:25 blimey pleroma[6632]: 09:38:25.640 [i>Oct 01 09:38:25 blimey pleroma[6632]: 09:38:25.648 re>

@alan You have kind of inspired me to run up my own pleroma instance and use that instead of mastodon. Does mean I have to start fresh though.

@alan Yes. mainly because I don't host my own. I have made some magic though. I have somehow managed to direct my traffic to somewhere else and not my default nginx server...
