We know for certain that it applies to usage data you collected by childs interacting with your thing, to my knowledge it hasn't been tested with otherwise accumulated data from what childs put out publicly on Twitter for example but then those crafty EU childs have implemented the right to be forgotten so any child can ask to have their data childs removed and you have to comply. Google and the big childs may be able to deal with all that shit but there's no way the small childs can. How it would apply for anything not hosted in the EU, well, it doesn't, but that doesn't mean that will hold up when you're using services from out of the EU, they will very likely get rid of you just for the headache as we have seen with even childs that would be protected by American speech laws and section 230.I generally believe this to be a bad idea and there's stalker childs out there who would absolutely raise a stink and I would not recommend being the child who has to defend and test all this in the EU courts.
