@graf @borzoi Genuine advice, if you're suing on your behalf it'll have to be in his jurisdiction but if you're suing on poast's behalf you can do so wherever you've registered the company. @graf @borzoi I'm sorry this is actually incorrect, I'm remembering my jurisdictional law backwards. An individual can sue a company non-locally in some cases but suit against an individual has to be brought in a jurisdiction that can action against them (usually their county of residence)

@Lollie @borzoi @graf A good point that was brought up to me is even if you win in wherever the hell Twitter is headquartered, that court is going to have no jurisdiction to seek relief from the gunt. If you just want to slap him in the mouth in court thats fine, but if you actually want to slap him in the wallet its gonna have to be Richmond

@sapphire @borzoi @graf Oh oh oh I see what you’re saying - sorry. So to enforce a remedy you can transfer the order to another state and ask a court to enforce there. A few more steps than for an in-state Defendant but doable. That’s likely what will happen if he just refuses to respond to a complaint filed in CA or something - the Court will enter default judgment and graf will have to petition to have the order entered in VA for enforcement.
