       @stux @fyrfli compare the Terminal app to cmd.exe, the terminal of the only other major commercial OS on the market. i'd say it's pretty nice all things considered. they could have sold macOS with a shitty terminal and most people would not care, but people at Apple took care to flesh this out, and Apple paid them for it.
