I have this strong dread about losing contact with people who I've made meaningful connections with yet I struggle to maintain relationships with... well... anyone.I just reach out very infrequently to important, far away people in the hopes that they will still remember and love me despite no effort on my part in years.This was one way that corporate social media was useful in my life. It created a tether that kept me in other peoples' lives and vice versa.

@ajdunevent I think I did and do do this but at varying levels and in the end, it always used to kind of poke at me..should I really be putting myself that less in importance to boost up others and shouldn't the love and effort have started from my side instead of just pinging and seeing if they are keeping up their side of expectations of mine..

@ajdunevent it's easier to generalize as such and i fall prey to this as well. but it's important to be told and to be aware that it is on a case by case basis. and no number of cases define a trend. there's always hope. coz even one outlier would make us believe even if for a little while.
