@ajdunevent I think I did and do do this but at varying levels and in the end, it always used to kind of poke at me..should I really be putting myself that less in importance to boost up others and shouldn't the love and effort have started from my side instead of just pinging and seeing if they are keeping up their side of expectations of mine..

@ajdunevent it's easier to generalize as such and i fall prey to this as well. but it's important to be told and to be aware that it is on a case by case basis. and no number of cases define a trend. there's always hope. coz even one outlier would make us believe even if for a little while.

@atoponce i depend on this such a lot that i feel out of place in shells that don't have this by default including REPLs. they have workarounds, but who's sitting to do all that..

@fatboy I think the reveal itself should happen from the kid, when they grow up and understand enough to realize what they truly feel like. every gender reveal should be like coming out of the closet but with more fanfare and balloons.

@fatboy can't help if you have your holy place in a mega mall. the mall is for those who are attracted by glamorous displays not holy places. and that too, leaving aside the fact, that the distro is not to my taste, it does cater to people, who'd want to be told in their faces and perhaps never have to use the holy place unless their desired products have not shown up in the glitzy storefronts.
