I just found out that some of my project directories I haven't touched in a while have lots of files which are blank. So now I'm hunting down backups to find that they've been blank for some time, but luckily I back up daily and I'll get to the bottom of when this happened. I am not confident I'll find out why this happened. It seems to only have happened on some local git repos.

@someodd Are they just empty or are they 0 byte files? Kinda sounds like a bad flag was added to a robocopy command.

@someoddIf you are using git... Wouldn't it be easier to find it out using it directly? Maybe git log, git diff, etc can help you, and also a git checkout to retrieve them. Except if the git repo itself is corrupt.
