       hot take: SQL and relational DBs are actually great, it's just that ORMs and OOP in general sucks. Interacting wjth a DB in a more functional programming way is a lot nicer.

       I have come to the same conclusion. I never doubted relational DBs, but a lot of languages handle DBs really poorly
